Data Storage and Security

• Encryption at rest: All stored data — including your uploaded files and database records — is encrypted using AES-256 encryption
• Encryption in transit: All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using TLS. We do not expose any unencrypted endpoints
• Secure authentication: Passwords are never stored in plain text and are never transmitted over the network in any form
• Access control: Your files and results are only accessible to you unless you explicitly share them

Data Retention

• Uploaded files: All uploaded files (images, PDFs, documents) are automatically and permanently deleted 30 days after upload
• OCR results: Your extracted text and job history are retained for 30 days so you can search and reference past work. After 30 days, this data is automatically and permanently deleted from our database.
• Account data: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time

Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party cloud providers for hosting, data processing, payment processing, and email delivery. We only share the minimum data necessary for each service to function. Payment information is handled entirely by our payment processor — we never store your credit card details.

Cookies

We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party advertising trackers or sell your data to advertisers.
